2teaspoonteriyaki saucedivided
½teaspoonsea saltkosher
½teaspoonground pepperfreshly ground
¼piecelemon juicefreshly squeezed
Instructions
Preheat the Air Fryer: Select the preheat setting on your air fryer and adjust the temperature to 185°C (365°F) for 4 minutes.
Season and Marinate: Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with a paper towel. Season the top of the meat lightly with salt and pepper, then brush a generous layer of teriyaki sauce over the top and sides. Let it sit while the air fryer warms up.
Arrange in the Basket: Place a piece of perforated air fryer parchment paper into the preheated basket. Arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
Air Fry: Slide the basket back in and cook at 185°C (365°F) for 7 to 9 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets. No flipping is necessary.
Final Glaze and Serve: Carefully remove the salmon with a spatula. Brush with a final layer of fresh teriyaki sauce for a glossy finish and serve immediately with fresh lemon slices.

Notes
Air Fryer Model: This recipe was tested using a 5.5-litre Cosori Air Fryer XXL. If you are using a smaller or less powerful model, you may need to add 1 to 2 minutes to the cooking time.
Doneness Check: The most accurate way to ensure your salmon is perfectly cooked and juicy is to check the internal temperature with a digital meat thermometer. It should register 145°F (63°C) at the thickest part.
Parchment Paper Safety: Never place parchment paper inside the air fryer while it is preheating. The hot air will blow it into the heating element and cause it to burn. Only add it when you are ready to immediately place the weight of the salmon on top.
Storage & Reheating: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 160°C (320°F) for 3 to 4 minutes to keep the fish from turning rubbery.
