Ingredients

  • 500 g red tomatoes
  • 250 g yellow tomatoes
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • 250 g mozzarella
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 12 leaves fresh basil
  • 3 tbsp olive oil extra virgen
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  • We have to slice the tomatoes, so we started with the big ones that we washed and cut them in half first, then I cut them in half again and sliced it. continued with the yellow tomatoes, which is a little smaller I only cut them in two and then I sliced it. Slice the two pieces of mozzarella, into not too large slices, ideally, it should be the size of tomato slices.
  • Place the red and yellow sliced tomatoes on a larger plate. Season them with sea salt, freshly ground pepper and dried oregano. Place the mozzarella among the tomato slices and finish with the cherry tomatoes cut in half. Break some fresh basil leaves and spread it over the tomatoes. Sprinkle everything with extra virgin olive oil and a little balsamic vinegar.
  • It can be consumed as an entree, with fresh leavened bread, at any time of the day.
